Jamie Vance, Chief Executive Officer at Mind Body Wellness

Jamie Vance (He-Him)

Chief Executive Officer

Jamie has been a leader in the behavioral health industry for over 15 years, having worked and consulted for some of the largest and most successful companies in the field. Jamie decided to found Mind Body Wellness out of a personal passion to make top of the line mental healthcare more accessible, affordable, and integrated into a system of whole person wellness. After witnessing the trauma that can take place when individuals have to navigate a confusing maze of outpatient providers, insurance networks, and siloed specialty practices, Jamie decided to start a company that would provide a better option.

In his own words: “I’m Jamie. A dad, a proud recovering person, and a passionate advocate for mental and physical wellness. I remember when I started in this field at 24, my father told me to never forget my “why”. I haven’t. This is my why. For me, Mind Body Wellness is a gift to the field that both saved my life and gave me purpose. I was challenged by my colleagues and mentors to go beyond conventional and create something that solves a problem and disrupts status-quo. I feel like it is time for the mental health field to have a whole-person approach that is radically accessible and easy to navigate. Since I started in this field at 24 years old, I’ve always wanted to see outpatient mental health services integrated into a model that anyone can use, I have always felt like for the consumer, care should be easier to navigate, and that if you provide a plan for physical wellness alongside mental health, people will have better outcomes.”

Jamie has brought together a team of medical professionals, wellness coaches, peer recovery specialists, licensed therapists, and more to deliver a holistic and integrated approach to healthcare, all under one roof. He will continue to advocate tirelessly for these services to be covered in-network by insurance companies so that our clients can enjoy easy access to meaningful healthcare.
