Dual Diagnosis IOP

Substance use disorders cause many problems in a person’s life by attacking their physical and mental health. Because of this, we created a substance use IOP that provides real solutions. Our treatment plans help you take charge of your life so you can enjoy sobriety and better mental health now and in the future.

Is a Dual Diagnosis IOP Program Right for You?

People with substance use disorders all have unique treatment needs and need a treatment approach that matches their circumstances. Substance use IOP provides focused, expert help for many types of people. Candidates for substance use outpatient care include:

  • People who have completed a residential program and need a step-down program to ensure lasting recovery
  • People who have relapsed
  • People who need addiction treatment while personal responsibilities

Mental Health IOP

Outpatient mental health treatment is a specialized form of care designed to meet the needs of those looking to manage their mental health disorders. Individuals who can benefit from mental health IOP can participate in an outpatient program to identify and address the mental health challenges they’re experiencing in a safe environment.

Is Mental Health IOP Right for You?

We value mental health just as much as physical health. However, mental health IOP isn’t the right choice for everyone experiencing a mental health condition. Candidates for this type of care include:

  • Individuals who can continue to uphold their responsibilities at home, work, school, etc
  • Someone who isn’t experiencing a severe substance use disorder or those who don’t have a severe mental health disorder

Adolescent IOP

If your child is showing symptoms of substance use, getting treatment for them is pivotal. Knowing which type of treatment is right for them is just as important. IOP for adolescents is an ideal option for teenagers who are using drugs but aren’t actively addicted to them.

Depending on the substance, they may require more advanced care than drug addiction treatment can provide. Adolescent IOP is best suited for teens who use drugs but can stop without experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Outpatient treatment allows them to continue attending school while participating in the program.

Your child might benefit from adolescent IOP if they:

  • Have a strong support system at home
  • Can disconnect from peers who use drugs
  • Are at low risk for relapse
  • Don’t have any severe mental health conditions

If you’re concerned that your child requires help for a substance use problem, reaching out to a professional to help determine if substance use IOP is right for them is the first step.

Is Adolescent IOP Right For You?

Adolescents are more vulnerable to substance use and mental health disorders without healthy coping mechanisms. Adolescent IOP is best for individuals 13 and older who are experiencing substance use or mental health conditions that disrupt their daily lives. Candidates for this type of care include:

  • Have poor academic performance
  • Withdraw from family and close friends
  • Show decreased interest in their favorite hobbies and activities
  • Actively engage in self-harm or have suicidal thoughts
  • Adolescents who drink, smoke, or take drugs

What To Expect From Our Outpatient Programs

Each person will attend three to five sessions weekly during the day for a few hours. Through our whole-body wellness approach, people learn about their disorders, develop healthy coping skills, and take advantage of aftercare choices.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one counseling forms the backbone of many treatment programs. It provides each person with a safe outlet to speak openly about their condition. They develop healthy coping skills they can use after therapy ends.

Group Therapy

Group counseling provides a support network for individuals going through similar life experiences. Regularly talking and listening to others can help you overcome your challenges and make you feel less alone. Additionally, hearing other perspectives can help you see situations in different ways. From there, you can develop positive coping strategies for facing difficult situations.

Flexible Scheduling

We offer morning and evening groups to accommodate people with busy schedules and those returning to work.

Case Management

We understand that every individual is unique, so we take a personalized approach to every treatment plan. Our highly skilled team of therapists, psychiatrists, and recovery coaches work together to ensure you have the tools you need to achieve a whole-body healing experience and long-term recovery.

Benefits of Mind Body’s Outpatient Programs

When IOP is the right type of care for you, these and other benefits are attainable.

Personalized Care

Clients who attend IOP get the most customized care possible from their providers. They will work with professionals to develop a course of care that meets their unique needs. They can finally start seeing positive results as quickly as possible.

Connection to the Community

Connection is an essential facet of healing. For this reason, outpatient programs typically encourage participation in local support groups. Clients can learn more about managing their conditions through mutual support and understanding.

Affordability

Most IOP treatment is covered by insurance, making it a highly affordable service. Compared to more intense IOPs, clients can receive quality care while not having to pay excessive amounts of money to cover it.

Ability To Live at Home

It’s not as uncommon as some might think for people to enroll in an IOP. These individuals will reside at a facility for the duration of their care. However, IOP allows clients to continue to live at home or in a sober living home, go to work, and uphold the responsibilities they have in their lives with little to no disruption. Clients get the care they need while also being able to contribute to the well-being of themselves and their families.
